How can I use CQ Press Library?
Search all of the resources on CQ Press Library using the searchbar, or select a resource from the drop-down list and search only specific content. Or browse all of the CQ Press Library resources to select the specific resource you need.
How can I narrow my search results?
After completing a search, choose to filter your results by resource, source type (eg. case summary, election analysis, or primary source), or date. You can also sort your results by relevance or date or run another search within your search results.
How can I find usage information for resources on the CQ Press Library?
Please check out our usage reports to see reports designed for COUNTER 3 and COUNTER 4 (in beta).
Please check out our COUNTER 4 Reports FAQ.
Why have the titles of the resources in my usage reports changed?
With the re-design of CQ Press Library, we wanted to update the resource titles to make it clearer which subject areas were accessible in each resource. For ex: We removed the “CQ” from “CQ Supreme Court Collection,” so when a user is scanning a list alphabetically looking for “Supreme Court,” they will find the right resource.
University alumni may have access to the content hosted on SAGE and CQ Press platforms through their university library, based on their university's current and active holdings. All alumni registered with subscribing or purchasing libraries will be able to access these resources, including more than 1,000 scholarly and professional journals at no extra fee. University libraries already support current students and scholars with access to online resources through both on-site and remote services. This license extends this offering to alumni via IP address, ATHENS, or SHIBBOLETH through the institution’s account. SAGE does not have the information or systems necessary to authenticate an individual as being an alumnus of a particular institution. Because of this, institutions will need to manage the authentication process and provide alumni with a route through the institutional IP network or with an ATHENS or SHIBBOLETH profile. Please contact your designated sales representative with any questions.

I can't find the title I'm looking for. Where is it?
Some CQ Press titles are now available on SAGE Knowledge.
Which titles migrated to SAGE Knowledge?
All of CQ Press Library Online Editions migrated to the new SAGE Knowledge platform except the following titles:
-
Political Handbook of the World
Politics in America
CQ Almanac
Supreme Court Yearbook
These books will remain on CQ Press Library for the time being, given copyright and organizational restrictions.
Why did these titles move from CQ Press Library (CQL) to SAGE Knowledge (SK)?
The CQ Press Online Editions (OEs) were moved in an effort to streamline access of SAGE and CQ Press reference content. SAGE Knowledge also offers improved discoverability of content and more advanced navigation.
When will the Online Editions no longer be accessible through from the CQ Press Library page?
The CQ Press Library page will contain links to all of the titles that have migrated to SK until June 2014. Take a look at all of the CQ Press titles on SAGE Knowledge.
