On occasion, a member of Congress will rise on the floor, days or weeks after a roll call has been taken, and announce that his vote has been listed incorrectly in the Congressional Record. In all such the roll call in the Journal and the permanent Record. An effort has been made to incorporate all such corrections in the roll calls given on the following pages. For this reason, the totals of “yeas” and “nays” here given do not agree in every case with the totals shown in daily issues of the Congressional Record.
