On occasion, a member of the Senate or the House will rise on the floor, days or weeks after a roll call has been taken, and announce that his vote has been incorrectly recorded in the lists of “yeas” and “nays” as published in the Congressional Record. In all such cases unanimous consent is granted, as a matter of course, to correct the roll call in the Journal and the permanent Record. An effort has been made to incorporate all such corrections in the roll calls presented on the following pages.
