Help: Calendar

The Calendar provides dates for each state’s key events in the current election cycle. The filing deadlines listed are for congressional races as well as gubernatorial contests where applicable.

Primary dates are parenthetically designated based on which offices are on the ballot: P stands for presidential, C for congressional and G for gubernatorial. The presidential primary dates listed are specifically for the Democrats, as President Bush is not expected to face competition for the Republican nomination.

The dates are arranged in chronological order from top to bottom. To jump to a specific date, click on the relevant month in the horizontal listing. To go back to the top, use the back button on your web browser or simply scroll to the top of the screen.
