Help: Record on CQ Key Votes
A member's voting record on CQ Key Votes can be accessed by clicking the "Record on Key Votes" link in the Member Biography Box Score, which appears as part of the member's biography. That link takes you to a list of CQ Key Votes in which that member participated. You will see the member's name at the top of the page, which is a link back to the member's biography. For each vote in which he or she participated, you will see
- a descriptive title that CQ has given the vote
- the member's vote ("Y" for yea, "N" for nay, or a symbol indicating a different type of vote)
- the numerical outcome of the vote
- the date on which the vote was taken
- the member's party affiliation and constituency at the time of the vote
The title is a link to a document window that contains a description of the vote and a CQ Key Votes Box Score.
By default, the member's votes are sorted chronologically by date, with the most recent votes first. Users may re-sort the votes alphabetically by title or may re-sort by type of vote ("nay," "other," "yea").
